Using just a browser on your smartphone or computer, you can remotely install Direct Sports Network onto your Nvidia Sheild in less than a minute.
Click the button below to open the Google Play Store website (in a new tab), then login to the Google account registered to your Nvidia Shield (by clicking “Sign in” located at the top right corner of the webpage).
Click the green-colored button labeled, “Install” to open the installation page, then select your preferred streaming media player from the menu and click the green-colored button labeled, “Install”, and that’s it!
The app will automatically install itself, and the next time you access your Nvidia Sheild, you’ll see a tile for Direct Sports Network in your apps menu.
Installing Direct Sports Network onto your Nvidia Sheild is quick and easy.
Power on your television and launch the Nvidia Sheild Streaming Media Player.
On the homepage of your Nvidia Shield, navigate to the ‘keyboard’ icon in the top left corner of your screen, and click on it. Search for “Direct Sports app” by using your remote control to select and input letters into the onscreen keyboard.
Alternatively, you may ‘press and hold’ the microphone button on your remote and say, “Direct Sports app”.
The first app displayed (in the onscreen ‘search results’) should be Direct Sports Network. Click the tile to open the installation screen; click once again, and the app will begin to install itself. After installation is complete, click once more to launch the app, and enjoy!
